Blac Chyna fans question her sense of parental responsibility

Florida fans of reality TV are not usually surprised when personalities on their favorite shows are caught acting out in their personal lives. It may be difficult to discern real life from the contrived scenes and conflicts they see during weekly episodes. However, when children are in the middle of disputes and outbursts, viewers may begin to question how seriously a reality star is taking his or her parental responsibility.

The Kardashian family has entertained viewers for over a decade, including numerous spinoffs and endless merchandising. While most of the hype focuses on the glamorous daughters, brother Rob has had some interesting storylines of his own. Recently, he and his ex-fiancée, model Blac Chyna have been disputing the custody of their baby girl named Dream. Kardashian reportedly pays Chyna $20,000 per month in child support despite the 50-50 custody arrangement they share. However, it is Chyna’s behavior that has Kardashian re-considering that arrangement.

Apparently, Chyna has been demonstrating increasingly erratic behavior, including the viral video of her swinging a baby stroller at guests at a theme park after one fan reportedly touched her child. Kardashian also expressed concern about the frequent men Chyna allows in her home when Dream is present, and he has asked the court to put limitations on those visitors. While there will apparently be nothing in his petition that will reduce Chyna’s custody, Kardashian is looking to place boundaries on her behavior.

Child custody orders are not set in stone. Therefore, a Florida parent who feels his or her co-parent is not adequately fulfilling every parental responsibility has the right to express concern for the welfare of the children. Seeking the advice of an attorney is the most advantageous way to pursue legal remedies for these disputes.
